Most of the projects required the groups to come up with a fake ad agency or business name that we were representing. I was browsing through old project folders looking at the logos I made and thought I’d post them since the sites been a little dry lately.

Logo for a marketing project group that built a business plan for anything we wanted to do and we chose to do an indoor skydiving facility for Oklahoma City. This was one tough class and the business plan when finished was complete enough to present to Investors, which our professor told our group that he might know some people interested in our business plan.

Soar Indoors was the business name the 4Ward Marketing group and I came up with for the indoor skydiving business.

Sometimes the group names weren’t so serious. Some other names that were tossed around before Team 1 was picked were Red Team, Blue Team, Team 2, Dominators and one group member from Pakistan suggested some name that in Arabic meant a donkeys ass.

Ellipses Advertising was chosen as the group’s name and we were to design a logo and a full blown advertising campaign for a company called The Buckboard, which sold western wear clothing. I really wish I could show the ads that I designed for this project but we were allowed to use photos from sources without permission since the project was just for the eyes of the class. The professor told our group that our ads and presentation were the best of all the groups. Suck on that other groups!

This was one of the designs I came up with for The Buckboard campaign but the group chose another design I did but I still like this one the best.

Nothing to flashy here, simple and to the point logo for the UCO Human Resource Society that I designed along with a series of print media for them.
