After another long hiatus weâ€™ve finally recorded another show. We had to get a podcast in for 2008 since we hadn’t done one all year and with 3 minutes left in 2008 we got it done just in time. My friend Jarrett, my brother Jeremy and his wife Sarah join me on the show to bring in the New Year here in Oklahoma and in Colorado. We talk a little bit of tech, our News Year’s resolutions and best 2008 things.

It’s been a long time since the last podcast we did, which was around this time last year on December 16th. It just doesn’t seem right to roll in to 2009 without ever having a podcast for 2008 so ideas are rolling and plans are being put together. A show is near.

These are some videos I streamed live using Qik and their iPhone application. The video quality isn’t to hot because of the live streaming and I don’t think the iPhone camera is really cut out for video but the quality isn’t that bad, good enough to watch.

With Quakecon 2008 just 2 days away I’ve decided we might as well just wait until we get back to do the live show.

However I don’t think the show will happen to soon because in the coming weeks I will be moving in to an apartment. Hopefully soon we will have time to put together a show so keep checking back.

We were thinking about doing a live show maybe this weekend or next weekend, so just a heads up to keep a look out for the show. I’ll post before hand once we figure out a day for the show.

This time we should have a video feed so you can see our ugly mugs. As always if you got topic ideas post them in the comments.

Come up with at least one question (more if you want) and post it in the comments and we will give you the best answer in the #@$%ing universe.

This show will be so epic that it will retire the word epic from use anymore. “Epic” will be finally fulfilled, so don’t miss this show.

Quakecon 2008 – Hmm…

Quakecon.org posted the times for registration last week and registration will happen on April 30th, tomorrow, at 8pm central time for Quakecon 2008 (July 31 – August 3). If you think you might want to go you should be ready to register for the event tomorrow.

This year if I can make it I hope to stream live from the event at JustinSanchez.com/live and chat with whoever is on the live page. If all goes as planned we should have a pretty lively seen around us (my q3 team) with fans, friends and team AFZ (a bunch of cool guys and gals we met Quakecon 07) sitting with and hanging out with us. I’m sure there will be some partying and then attempts to slaughter each other in the game after to many drinks. I’ve written more about this on my teams website, so if you want to read more about this here is the article.

The new Live page has launched.

The Live page we use for the show was never quite perfect but now there is a brand new Live page design with some new features. The old Live page got the job done but it has some limitations and minor problems that this new one doesn’t have.

The new Live page can now stream video/audio and it has a much nicer chat application then before. The overall appearance of things were improved as well. You can check it out by clicking Live in the menu above or go here.

Now I just got to get a show planned to break in the new page.

Not much content on the site lately so I figured I might do podcast this Halloween (Wednesday). What do you think?

It would be live but you would still be able to listen to it later if you can’t make it for the live version. Stop lurking on the site and post what you think. Just 2 days until Halloween so get to it.

If you think so and have a good Halloween/haunted story post that too we might call you up to talk about it.

Oh yeah, if I don’t get 4 answers from 4 different people in the comments within 2 days I will kill myself. Do you really want that on your shoulders?
