Live show postponed

With Quakecon 2008 just 2 days away I’ve decided we might as well just wait until we get back to do the live show.

However I don’t think the show will happen to soon because in the coming weeks I will be moving in to an apartment. Hopefully soon we will have time to put together a show so keep checking back.

Quakecon 2008 – Hmm…

Quakecon.org posted the times for registration last week and registration will happen on April 30th, tomorrow, at 8pm central time for Quakecon 2008 (July 31 – August 3). If you think you might want to go you should be ready to register for the event tomorrow.

This year if I can make it I hope to stream live from the event at JustinSanchez.com/live and chat with whoever is on the live page. If all goes as planned we should have a pretty lively seen around us (my q3 team) with fans, friends and team AFZ (a bunch of cool guys and gals we met Quakecon 07) sitting with and hanging out with us. I’m sure there will be some partying and then attempts to slaughter each other in the game after to many drinks. I’ve written more about this on my teams website, so if you want to read more about this here is the article.

Teamwork

Teamwork, originally uploaded by sp4rky.

Most of you won’t care to much about this but some will. Anyway, I created this as a promotional item for Team Event Horizon’s upcoming film. This really shows the level of teamwork to perform these type of things.

What is on your Christmas list?

Here is the only thing on my list:

Nvidia 8800 GT ( $289 at NewEgg.com ) – This is a video card for computers, which makes the image you see on your screen show up (for those non geeks). This thing though is designed for hardcore gaming which requires massive amounts of graphics processing power. The latest games coming out pretty much need one of these if you don’t want to feel like your watching a slideshow.

My Nvidia 7600 GS video card just isn’t cutting it anymore so maybe after Christmas I’ll have some extra cash or something to put towards this thing. Who knows maybe Santa will drop this under the tree when he finds out I single-handedly pulled 23 nuns out of a turned over bus that was on fire and wired with a bomb, which I also defused.
