Coming up next, Quakecon 2008
I’ll be posting updates to the site like I did last year and small twitter updates too. I’ll also upload pictures to flickr while we are there so keep checking back to see what is going on and if you want, follow me on twitter. I hope to do some video streaming from the event but this may not be possible, it’s pending at the moment. If I can it will be streaming at www.JustinSanchez.com/live.
Me and Jennifer met some cool people last year from another gaming team that my team and I are planning to hang out with and do some gaming.
I can’t believe I got Jennifer to come again this year because I know sometimes she gets bored but there is plenty to do that isn’t gaming and we always have fun at those things. Maybe she is coming just because she knows this year they are are giving away a 2008 Corvette, which is her favorite car. I am told often by my friends that I am very lucky guy because Jennifer puts up with my gaming and just the fact that she comes with me to Quakecon. I’ve got to agree with them and I appreciate her coming.
Oh and If you are a blockles fan you better watch my twitter updates because I’m sure we are going to play some blockles.
Live show postponed
With Quakecon 2008 just 2 days away I’ve decided we might as well just wait until we get back to do the live show.
However I don’t think the show will happen to soon because in the coming weeks I will be moving in to an apartment. Hopefully soon we will have time to put together a show so keep checking back.
Gymkata. Movies aren’t like they use to be.
It almost seemed fake at first. Check out the trailer.
“When gymanastics and karate are fused the combostion becomes an explosion…Gymkata!”
OMG LIVE SHOW, F#@$ YEAH! OGMOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were thinking about doing a live show maybe this weekend or next weekend, so just a heads up to keep a look out for the show. I’ll post before hand once we figure out a day for the show.
This time we should have a video feed so you can see our ugly mugs. As always if you got topic ideas post them in the comments.
Come up with at least one question (more if you want) and post it in the comments and we will give you the best answer in the #@$%ing universe.
This show will be so epic that it will retire the word epic from use anymore. “Epic” will be finally fulfilled, so don’t miss this show.
The most bitchin iPhone sim card remover, ever.
I was using a paper clip to remove the sim card of a first gen iPhone during some unlocking problems and had seen that the new iPhones come with a nice sim card remover tool. I immediately looked at my lame paper clip and thought hmmm. Well here is what I ended up doing to spruce it up.
Tux having fun in a box.
While moving some stuff around Tux found a box to jump in and then he swatted at anyone that walked by through the boxes handle holes. When you start the video you will notice Jennifer sticks her face up to the hole…not thinking… and Tux decide to swat her face, pretty funny stuff.

Visit to Pops
Sarah, Jennifer, Jeremy and I recently drove out to Arcadia, Oklahoma, just a few minutes outside of Edmond, to check out Pops on the historic Route 66. Pops website says it is a new landmark on the historic route 66 and an “ultra-modern gas station, restaurant, shake shop, gift shop, convenience store and event venue.”
When we arrived the parking lot was already pretty full and we were welcomed by a 66-foot tall soda pop in the entrance. Walking in the place you see thousands of different types of soda pop lining the windows that are illuminated by the inside lights and sun reflecting on the bottles. Pops has 500 plus different types of soda and 43 varieties of root beer and 50 flavors of cream soda. Being a fan of both root beer and cream soda I was in heaven, even more so when I found out they had Bawls.
Pops also has a restaurant inside that we had a bite to eat at and the food was pretty good. I’d like to go back and try their burgers sometime though because they say their shakes and burgers are there second signature after their first, which is the 500 plus different types and flavors of pop. It was a good time and a must see sight so if you haven’t been I would definitely recommend hitting it up sometime.
Here is a link to the rest of my photos from Pops.

First attempt at grilled pizza
Me and Jen took a stab at grilling pizza and it turned out pretty good. We decided that supreme might be awesome on the grill so we are going to try that sometime.
