This years Quakecon is the second one me and Jennifer have been to and it was a blast. This year there wasn’t as much entertainment shows but it was still awesome to me up with my team and game on the network there with 2,800 other people. Quakecon is one of, if not, the biggest lan gaming event in the U.S.

Pictures:
I didn’t take as many pictures as I did at last years Quakecon but there are still plenty of pictures and some video.
Click on the images to see the captions of whats going on in the photos.
Here are a few videos I shot with my digital camera. Sorry for the lighting on some of them, not much I could do.After the first day Jennifer’s keyboard bit the dust, So we shot some video on the way to Fry’s to pick up a new one and we talk about why the keyboard might have died.
In this video I’m playing Quake 4 in the amBX booth by Phillips. amBX is the peripherals you see in the video changing color to match whats going on in the game. There is also an armrest the vibrates when you get hit in the game and there is a 4 fans you can’t see that blow air on you when rockets fly by and things like that. amBX is designed to bring the ambient atmosphere of the game to the room you game in.
This video was shot in the BYOC (gaming area) and it was dark so it is a bit hard to see whats going on. But it’s video my team (Event Horizon) gaming in the BYOC.
This was a breakdance fight, or whatever you call it, that Nvidia was having at their booth for some Nvidia swag at Quakecon 2007.
