My hometown flooded

Last night we had some monsterous storms from a tropical storm that had moved inland. After 3 days traveling inland the storm kept strong and was dropping rain at about 3inch per hour! And it was very weird to see the radar image of the storm and see what looked like a hurricane over Oklahoma.

Kingfisher, OK, which is my hometown is near a fork in a river and all the rain that Oklahoma received has caused the river to overflow in Kingfisher causing the biggest flood to my knowledge in Kingfisher. We had something similar to this when I was younger but it was no where near this bad.

I’ve been following the news and taking pictures of the tv screen of the events, floods and rescues in Kingfisher. Quality is not so great of the images but you can still see what is going on.

Not sure if you had heard yet but we had to move the donut shop. We moved into Fox’s pizza’s old place. Today was the first day we were back open. Next time you are in town you should stop in.
