Flickr GeoTagging - Mine and a quick run through

Flickr just last week added the ability for people to GeoTag their photos and It's pretty damn awesome.

If you aren't familiar with GeoTagging the picture below should help you understand. It's pretty much just taggin a map with your pictures, in the place you took them. Flickr added the feature last week and in the first 24 hours 1.2 Million photos were Geotagged.

Once I had heard about the GeoTagging feature being added to Flickr I figured it would be pretty complicated to GeoTag them but to my supprise it was as simple as getting Paris Hilton to pose for a picture.

In Flickr you go to Organize, Map tab and then you work you way to the location that you took your pictures at and then you just drag that photo or photos to that area, it's that easy.
